An Emergency Services Coordinator conducts initial intake assessments and establishes provisional diagnosis for patients upon admission. Emergency Services Coordinators maintain all data/records regarding the intake and admission process and provide accurate information to Hospital Administration and physicians regarding admissions, referrals, and discharges. Must assure compliance with all applicable laws, codes, rules and regulations that pertain to psychiatric admissions and must assure the maintenance of a safe and sanitary environment
