What we are looking for:
UHS, Inc., is looking for a dynamic, hands-on ASSISTANT CONTROLLER chartered with oversite for full cycle month end close procedures, cost reports, budgets, governmental and other miscellaneous reports.Â This position will interact with facility CEOs and CFOs; facility Business Office Managers; corporate personnel and government agencies.
Key Responsibilities include:
Complete full cycle month-end close as well as balance sheet account reconciliations for assigned facilities.
Assist facilities with accounting (on site) as needed.
Assist the Regional Financial Director in the review of month end close and help reconcile problem accounts.
Assist in the completion of cost reports.
Assist facility Administrators and accounting personnel on accounting related questions and problems.
Assist facilities in development and maintenance of the APC/DOI reports and completion of state and federal reports.
Perform special projects for Administrators, Regional Financial Directors, and Regional Vice Presidents.
Assist in the completion of work papers assigned for external audits as well as work with auditors on any audit related issues.
Assist Regional Financial Director in the preparation and review of the annual budget for all assigned facilities.
Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all required reports and accounting data to meet applicable financial deadlines.
