Albertina Kerr strengthens Oregon families and communities by helping children and adults with developmental disabilities and mental health challenges - empowering them to live richer lives.
We're seeking a Child and Family Therapist in our short-stay, in-patient psychiatric crisis program for kids and adolescents (Subacute). This is a fast-paced program where you will provide child assessments and treatment planning, individual and family therapy using evidence-based practices focused on stabilizing the child and returning them to a lower-level of care within two - four weeks of admission. You'll also coordinate care focused on the child and family team, and work as part of a team of committed psychiatrists, nurses, and child and youth care practitioners. We are focused on your clinical excellence and provide support to achieve licensure within three years of hire.
Licensure is preferred but not required; however, successful candidates will have a clinical master's degree in social work, counseling psychology, child and family therapy, art therapy, or a closely related clinical discipline that qualifies for Oregon licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPC; have at least one year of experience working with children and families; be able to work in fast-paced environments, including work in client's homes, schools, churches and other locations within the community; and have a valid Oregon driver's license with at least 2 years' driving history.
A criminal background check is required, as is the ability to obtain licensure within three years.
*Options are available to obtain licensure supervision
