Medical Director of Maternal Fetal Medicine "MFM" shall be a practicing physician who will additionally work with senior leadership to provide the vision, administrative services, direction and supervision required for the proper operation of the MFM Division including, but not limited to those duties set forth in the Hospital's Medical Staff Bylaws. The Medical Director of MFM shall be a high-risk pregnancy expert who will collaborate with general obstetricians and other specialists to achieve healthy outcomes for both mother and baby in normal and high-risk pregnancies.
Exceptional communication skills required to effectively interact with colleagues and execute a vision for the program.
Six to ten years of clinical and institutional leadership preferred.
Previous MFM Division administrative experience required.
Active member or has the ability to become an active member with all necessary clinical privileges on the EHMC medical staff, in full compliance with the Bylaws, Rules and Regulations.
Maintain skills through documented participation in accredited CME activities consistent with Board guidelines.
M.D. degree; completed an accredited internship and residency
Board Certified Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialist
Currently holds, or has the ability to obtain licensure as per State requirements and medical staff bylaws.
