Merritt Hawkins academic recruiting team has partnered with Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences, one of the newest and fastest growing osteopathic medical schools in the nation, to bring in Family Medicine physicians that have a passion for teaching. Staying true to their mission of training new physicians to serve rural communities in the Pacific Northwest, they are in an aggressive growth period during a very exciting time. Right now their critical need is to support the curriculum with more clinical teaching faculty members. This school of medicine has state-of-the-art SIMs, a new osteopathic principles and practice laboratory, a spectacular new anatomy laboratory, and everything you would need to help medical students be successful.
Seeking candidates that love to teach and want to be a part of curriculum development for 1st and 2nd year medical students to prepare them for years three and four of clinical rotations. An opportunity also exists to teach OMM if desired. Interests in IPE collaborative teaching and IPE research would be a great plus but optional.
