JOB SUMMARY - (Senior Director - Quality / Review):
Department: Quality Reports To: Chief Executive Officer
Oversees the Quality and Process Improvement Department, Staff Development Department, and Infection Prevention/ Employee Health Department, and their functions, including quality assurance, process improvement, medical staff review, patient safety, accreditation, and risk management. Supports Bartlett Regional Hospital’s strong commitment to the highest standards of business and professional ethics. Provides services in compliance with all state and federal laws governing the hospital’s operations. Consistently maintains confidentiality of all medical, financial, employee, computer or other information that might jeopardize the privacy of others.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:(The following are minimal qualifications necessary for entry into this classification)
Education:BA/BS in a health care field. Nursing degree preferred.
Certification(s):Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) preferred.
Experience:Three (3) years recent acute care experience that includes at least one year of responsibility for quality improvement functions and activities is required. Two (2) years of healthcare management experience is preferred.
