Dickson-Diveley Orthopaedics, a growing, 16-surgeon, sub-specialized private medical group in the Kansas City metro area, is seeking a fellowship-trained Total Joint Orthopaedic Surgeon. A looming retirement has created a stable practice profile for the selected candidate to build upon in the future.
The group offers a competitive compensation package to associates and a 16-month track to partnership, as well as the potential for future ownership in an orthopaedic specialty hospital and medical office building. Ancillary services through the practice include onsite digital radiology, PACs, EMR, and durable medical equipment. Services through the orthopaedic specialty hospital include MRI, therapy services, and ortho urgent care.
The group’s affiliation with a tertiary care hospital, which provides a Level I trauma center and a university orthopaedic surgery residency program, also affords the opportunity for surgeons to teach residents and engage in research.
The Kansas City metro area rates as one of the Midwest’s most livable cities, with a population of 2.1 million people spread across 15 counties in two states, Kansas and Missouri. The metro area offers a professional symphony, a professional ballet, major art and history museums, and access to undergraduate and post-graduate degree programs through more than a dozen universities and colleges. An eclectic mix of restaurants and bars create a vibrant night life. Professional teams in baseball, football, and soccer, a NASCAR track, and close proximity to major universities competing in the Big 12 and SEC Conferences provide a wide variety of year-round sports and entertainment options.
