Program Manager - Global Education Memphis, TN
Overview The Department of Global Pediatric Medicine (GPM) is a new and growing department looking for professionals who are eager to help implement the mission of taking St. Jude to the world by training the clinical workforce, developing and strengthening health systems and patient-centered initiatives, and advancing knowledge to sustain continuous improvement through research. Responsibilities GPM is seeking a detail-oriented Program Manager to assist in the design, coordination, implementation, and oversight of educational projects and initiatives within and for the Department of Global Pediatric Medicine (GPM) and St. Jude Global (SJG). This pivotal new role, reporting to the Director of Global Education, serves as a team lead for the new St. Jude Global Academy that includes five distinctive initiatives: distance learning, global medicine fellowships, on-campus workshops and seminars, regional education programs, and the graduate degree program in global child health. This is a unique opportunity to develop new educational programs that will be implemented around the world. The Global Education Program Manager will be responsible for:
Working collaboratively with faculty to develop curriculum for educational training seminars.
Collaborating and liaising with the St. Jude Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences for the new graduate school program in Global Child Health.
Coordinating the fellowship program in GPM and at regional site locations.
Managing the distance learning program.
Working directly with GPM faculty to review and advance programs related to their efforts and initiatives.
Developing and implementing methods to evaluate program effectiveness.
Liaising with the SJCRH Cancer Center for community outreach and educational initiatives.
Supervising GPM education and St Jude Global Academy personnel.
Aligning educational initiatives with the St. Jude Global Strategic Plan and SJCRH mission.

Five (5) years of complex program management experience, preferably in an education or a healthcare-related setting.
Demonstrated ability to plan and coordinate multiple projects/work initiatives simultaneously.
Fluency in Spanish is highly preferred.

Knowledge and experience with distance learning management systems
Curriculum and performance metrics development
Familiarity with Microsoft Suite required
Strategic planning and analytical skills
Ability to carry out broad assignments with minimal supervision

Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Cultural sensitivity is a must
Willingness to travel internationally
Bachelor’s Degree in education, public health, or related field required.
Master’s Degree in education, public health, or related field preferred.
