Position and Organization Details:
The Executive Director of the Oncology Service Line/Cancer Center at Missouri Baptist Medical Center represents an opportunity to join a premier healthcare system and a national leader in healthcare quality as its strategic and operational leader of the second largest cancer program in the St. Louis metro area. A regional leader, Missouri Baptist Medical Center was the first hospital in St. Louis County to receive Magnet® recognition. This highly visible leadership role will provide strategic direction and operational administration for this successful and growing oncology service line;
A leader in healthcare delivery innovation and quality, Missouri Baptist Cancer Center maintains accreditation by the Commission on Cancer and is a member of Heartland Cancer Research with more than 90 active clinical trials;
The Breast HealthCare Center at Missouri Baptist recently joined an elite group of comprehensive breast care centers recognized as Level IV Certified Quality Breast Centers of Excellence by the National Consortium of Breast Centers;
Missouri Baptist Cancer Center is the first and one of only a few oncology programs in Missouri to offer RapidArc™ Therapy, a revolutionary radiation oncology treatment in the way image-guided radiation therapy (IMRT) is planned and delivered to patients.
The Ideal Candidate:
Exhibits demonstrated success working with physicians in a collaborative manner developing and implementing strategic business plans for service line growth and expansion;
Possesses a strong business and financial acumen with the ability to drive strategic growth and negotiate and manage complex physician contracts;
Is a visible leader who leads through building strong relationships with key stakeholders, including physicians, nurses, hospital leadership, peers, and staff;
Possesses a Graduate degree, preferably in nursing, business or health administration.
Employer will assist with relocation costs.
